Medusa

I remember watching Clash of the Titans when little and kind of feeling sorry for Medusa. Yeah, she was a monster, but did she deserve the death she got? The movie made her out to be evil. Then when reading up on Greek mythology I find out she had once been beautiful. The goddess Athena had been the one to turn her hair into snakes and her gaze deadly to all who looked upon her face.
